If you want something more, I'd also recommend SGM because it adds a whole lot of new quests and gameplay dynamics and is also relatively stable.

I'm a bit late to the party here, but what the hell was in the mind of the Lost Alpha mission designers? I'm being told to travel across the map (20 minutes of walking) to talk to a guy, then I have to go back? Why not use the radio? This is so irritating.

Whats a good mod for Clear Sky? Ive never actually finished the game because of a bug I had before I reached somewhere I needed to pass in the game.

I'm still trying to comprehend what was their excuse for fucking up Dead City and Army Warehouses as bad as they did. Yeah I just finished it then, that weird glowy ghost thing was silly. I feel like they wasted alot of potential... Dead City, Pripyat and Warehouses were barely used. Is it possible to port those maps over to CoP?

CoC's Dead City is from build 2571, it was a completely ready map, and it was cut out just some months before SOC was released. I uninstalled Atmosfear lite but something must've gone horribly wrong. [IMG]http://i.cubeupload.com/HmmdyR.jpg[/IMG] Terrain textures now looks like flight sim 2002. I tried changing texture detail and leaving the area and returning, nothing works. Is reinstalling CoP my only option?
I see you're playing Misery. I guess you previously installed Atmosfear lite onto Misery? It could be that uninstalling Atmosfear also removed some of Misery's files. Reinstalling Misery is your best bet in this situation. If that doesn't work, reinstall the game.

I've noticed that nothing respawns in stalkersoup :( ... well, that's not entirely accurate. creatures sometimes respawn in the wilds, but I've not seen NPCs respawn. What's up with that? As opposed to OGSE where they respawn every 2 hours.

I'm having Smod:Tactical flashbacks.

This + engine modifications the community is doing = ... I dont know. I actually cant imagine how good that'll be. Imagine an insanely dense forest ... without micro stutter. With correct shaders. CoP using all 4 cores, improved DX modes and all that goodness. Ill have to pink away a lot of tears when that happens.

I have been thinking of playing SoC again and for the first time with mods, as I've seen how much they change shit around. What would you guys suggest for it? I'd like one with blowouts as that I long for that tense feeling. I also own CoP if there are better mods for that.
