  • In the beta server right now, just realized how advanced this really is...

  • The github version of T1 is on par with an early version of T2, and the only real bugs I've run into while trying to work with the github version is that when people die, it won't go first person, and the business tab refuses to work. Also, if a flashlight is turned on, due to the new way first person works, it always faces down when not using a weapon. Other than that, and the bad positioning of weapons in first person due to Source being dumb, and the font being awkward, it works very well.

Jawalt said that unique data on items is not shared, it is only serverside, what i mean is like: SetItemUniqueData( strKey, value, bShared )

I've gotten my github version working without issues, other than business tab being broken (really do need to find a way to fix that).

  • Will groups be fixed up so that players can make their own groups and invite other players to their group? I had some trouble with older Tiramisu when adding someone to your group didn't actually add them.

Specifically, they're gonna be objects now, and will load on demand, so group information is always available when you need it

When you made a group, altering a position would result in it saying you had incorrect credentials. My biggest concerns are bugs that I know you'll fix, and you probably already know about them, but I'll list them anyway so I can feel better about myself: (all with vanilla Tiramisu) [1] Sometimes the blank slate model will appear alongside your actual model. So males get a Breen mixed in their actual character, and females get Alyx. [2] Flashlights under the current system only work if they're used along with a weapon drawn, since the flashlight faces downward towards the ground. [3] Healing is still listed with "MaxHealth" which isn't correct. Should change to "GetMaxHealth". [4] Business doesn't work. (But you are rewriting it) [5] When making a character, you have to click the "model" button twice, once to load the model, and another to actually change it. (don't think it's fixable, but still noteworthy I guess) I also want to know something, I am an admin, but I cannot give myself tools or physgun despite being listed with tooltrust. I don't know if this is because of Tira still being in development, or if I am missing something.

  • Ok, this is an odd situation I didn't expect to find myself into, but uh, just as I finished the new character selection and character creation menus, and went to update my server, it seems like I don't have one anymore. So I'm kind of forced to ask, is anybody willing to lend a server so I can continue testing? It doesn't have to be a big one, in fact, I prefer it to not be a big server.
