  • Flashlights are all but done, need to work out a couple bugs then add items for them. In the HL2 schema, though CP helmets will act as both flashlights and radios :D [editline]4th February 2012[/editline] Flashlights are smooth, but there are a couple serious bugs :(

There will be 2 types of lights: Area lights, held in the user's hand they're illuminate the area around the player. Flashlights, these are like normal flashlights only use projected textures. Flashlights can be created by adding ITEM.IsFlashlight to the item's definition. If it's just an item you can use the flashlight any time. If it's a helmet the helmet must be equipped for it to work. If it's a weapon the weapon must be out.

The only thing that doesn't exist is the leaning part.[/QUOTE] I believe what he's asking for is a kind of emote system, so you could, probably through either a menu or chat commands, do things such as doing a wave animation, or as he himself noted, a leaning animation.

Similar to openaura where players can bring up an emote menu, click on an emote and do an animation.

Regardless, I added all character selection stuff to the skin so you can modify it easier. Must I add that proper etiquette for modifying the skin is to make a new skin and base it off the current one. Modifying the hooks on the new skin will override those of the base, and whatever hooks don't exist on the new skin will be looked for in the base one.
