  • Does anyone know if it'd be possible to attach a particle effect to the muzzleflash, similar to how this one is attached to the explosion?
  • I'm not sure if any one has mentioned this yet but, is there a way to put it into HL2, HL2 E1 etc.?

  • Grab this and play the maps in GMod? Other than that, I don't think there is a way, unless I'm mistaken and this effect can be hooked into HL2. Haven't looked at it yet.

  • It looks really nice, did you also make the fire go sideways because of the wind or something? I hate how the original fire doesn't go sideways like it does in L4D2. Some more smoke would also be nice.

  • Its pretty good, has more of that big fiery explodey feel to it. I was going for a more dirty explosion :p the code works by finding the env_explosion entity and just attaching the particle effect to it. nades and dynamite don't use it but instead have the default effect "explosion" or "explosion2" coupled with something else. I haven't really looked into it.

I will make all kinds of different explosions to choose from.

  • Nice! Also, I read in your youtube video that I had to remove a file to get your effects to show up properly and all (SFX and your epic explosion are conflicting.) What was it again? lol

  • So say for example: My computer lags alot with this. What would i do to revert back to the regular explosions. [please don't tell me to reinstall gmod cause i have a lot of addons and what not].
