And that's all you need, people really shouldn't have to download massive multiple gigabyte content packs to be able to play on a HL2RP server. Yes that could work out.[/quote] I've actually done this before with HL2RP, having a system similar to Necropolis where everything is based on scavenging and trading. It actually worked out pretty well, but having no shops or anything for citizens to do other than twiddle their thumbs in apartments (biggest mistake of every HL2RP server; not giving citizens anything to do) led to them getting bored shitless, basically. Anyway really, if you take the HL2 canon completely seriously you're left with so many holes that you can't make anything functional. It's pretty much a neccessity to deviate. Just try not to do it to TnB levels. EDIT: Oh and Diss, I don't think I've mentioned yet (or maybe I did and my memory is fucking up), but it's pretty damn great what you're doing here. The Garrysmod RP community needs more variety in scripts, even if that variety comes from one of the oldest roleplay scripts there is. When every serious rp server is running Nexus/Blueprint/OpenAura, it's a little disconcerting.

  • Back on topic, is there going to be a table or some sort of the CP ranks, models, flag, etc To modify the rank or what?
  • Also on topic are you going to center the script on HL2RP, or will it be easily or at least with moderate ease converted?

  • Redid the scope texture for snipers with the default gmod scope texture (and the seldom used refract texture) [media]http://filesmelt.com/dl/gm_flatgrass000522.jpg[/media] [editline]2nd May 2011[/editline] It also lowers mouse sensitivity automatically when in scope mode

  • Considering switching over to this when it's released, depending on whether or not I can iron out the kinks in my edit of Tiramisu. This is looking very nice so far.

  • I think that the lag reduction is at a maximum for now - I'm going to be working on clientside files (eg. HUD, menus) to try to increase average FPS for a while.
