  • I'll seriously try to finish them until the end of the next week end. Really sorry about that. Features on the next version to show you what I added. [b]Version 2.0 BETA features:[/b] [b]*[/b] Edit the gnome weapon. [b]*[/b] Modified the gnome effect. [b]*[/b] I remove the bubbles when a smoke grenade was in the water. It was so fucking annoying and lowed FPS for nothing. [b]*[/b] I fully optimazed smoke particle of the smoke grenade, rocket launcher, grenade launcher, etc. [b]*[/b] Fixed the explosive grenade bugs. [b]*[/b] Weapons now automatically reload after the last shot. [b]*[/b] You can now give a medkit to a NPC. [b]*[/b] Add glock (Was not included in the first beta version). [b]*[/b] Add incendiary grenade. [b]*[/b] Add knife. [b]*[/b] Add .357 magnum. [b]*[/b] Add explosive charge. [b]*[/b] Add crossbow. [b]*[/b] Add sticky grenade (need HL2 Episode 2 for the model) [b]*[/b] Add a fuel tank entity (put your bullet on fire). [b]*[/b] Add ammo entities in the entities pannel. [b]*[/b] Add a new option: Holster/Deploy your weapon by pressin Use + Primary Fire. [b]*[/b] Add a new command : SWEP.Tracer (0 = Normal Tracer, 1 = Ar2 Tracer, 2 = Airboat Gun Tracer, 3 = Normal Tracer + Sparks Impact). [b]*[/b] Add some Day of Defeat : Source weapons (Garand, K98, 30Cal, Bar, C96, Carbine, Colt, K98 Sniper, MG42, MP40, P38, Springfield, STG44 and Thompson). In the next version, I'll include all DoD weapons. Oh and if you have the Garand or the K98, switch to the grenade launcher by pressing USE + Secondary Attack. Many DoD weapons have a secondary utility, you just need to press USE + Secondary Attack to change it. [b]*[/b] Edit the grenade launcher entities (if you're too close to a wall or an object, the grenade won't explode). [b]*[/b] Removed the NPC weapons list because it had too many weapons and they were not working properly. [b]*[/b] Shotguns can now destroy doors (doors revive after 30 secondes). [highlight]Ok, hum I fixed the DoD crouch weapons with LUA. It means that I moved the weapon in the hand of the player model. If you downloaded the DoD Holdtype Fix, you'll absolutly need to delete the new models because it will fuck up my LUA fix.[/highlight]

Besides that good work, you did what i thought was impossible with w models.

  • Worshipper, can you fix the CSS weapons too? Most of them, if not all of them, point downward a bit. It's irritating, at least to me.
  • Just in case we were making our own custom weapons with custom world models, would there be a tutorial/ connotations telling us how we would move the model from the crotch to the hands?

  • Thought I should make mention... When in the hip firing position, the emitter for the muzzle flash looks fine and dandy, as does the smoke effect and the tracers. However, if you raise your iron sights - the smoke and tracers stay in the position they're at. They do not move with the weapon. The muzzle flash, does though. Case and point... [img]http://www.airbornegaming.com/images/gm_flatgrass0009.jpg[/img] Ironsights Raised: [img]http://www.airbornegaming.com/images/gm_flatgrass0011.jpg[/img] Just something to look into. :) Also, a helpful suggestion. Weapons / models sometimes have awkward firing animations, specifically the USP or M4A1 when silenced and cause the ironsights to go wacky. Easiest way to solve this is get the animation length for the USP Silenced firing and reloading, and every time you fire, reset the animation to idle after a set time length, same deal for reloading. Fixes buggy ironsights. :D
