• Hotfix 2.1.5b - The crafting screen now stays open after crafting an item. This should increase the fun level of crafting x 1,000.

 • Perhaps you could give more human player models for neutral players. For example maybe have them start with a kind of default neutral set of clothes and maybe have some other sets of humans to play as and maybe stormtrooper playermodels? Edit: Also when i stop moving, I slide a little, is there any plan to fix that in the future?

 • I'd love to find some neutral player models for people to start off with rather than clones. Unfortunately, I haven't really found any models on garrysmod.org that are just regular people with futuristic-casual style clothes (in other words, not jumpsuits) As for the sliding issue, never heard of that before. Could be lag?

 • Yes people still play it. In other news, I'm in need of a fast download host. If anyone would be game for helping me with this (for free) that would be awesome. Apparently my crap webhost through GoDaddy won't do it properly, and I've heard bad things about trying to run one off of Dropbox.

 • That's right! Entertainer is coming to Star Wars Sagas as a new mastery! The Music System If you've ever played Star Wars Galaxies, you will feel right at home with playing music in Star Wars Sagas. Currently there are 8 songs in the game. Each song has 9 different parts, one of them being a main "riff", and 8 "flourishes". You can use a "flourish" by activating the Flourish 1, Flourish 2, etc. abilities that you gain at Novice Entertainer while playing a song. The flourishes are added to a "queue" and are timed appropriately with the music, so that you can create your own unique songs without having to worry about precise timing. You can queue up to 3 flourishes in advance. Or, if you don't want to queue anything, you can always play it by ear and add flourishes at the last minute after the previous riff finishes. Now for the cool part. I mentioned there are 8 songs in the game. Well there are also currently 3 instruments in the game. Each instrument has their own music and flourishes for each song. So let's see: 8 songs x 9 musical pieces each = 72 x 3 instruments = 216 unique sounds that you'll be able to hear from Entertainers. And there's more coming. The great part is that all of this only adds to ~32mb of new content. The Benefits This part is still being worked on, but the general idea is that there will be a way for players to stand near an entertainer, /listen to them and receive an "Inspiration" buff after a while of listening; this buff will increase experience gained, as well as your willpower and stamina attributes (which will give you a faster regen rate for Action and Mind pools). The more skilled an entertainer is, the more powerful their buffs will be. Progressing Leveling Entertainer works the same as other non-combat professions, such as Mining and Weaponcrafting. You'll earn a bit of entertainer experience every time you finish a riff of a song while playing music. You'll also earn more experience per riff if you perform a flourish (although flourishes do cost action, so you'll want to be buffed if you want to flourish more often). As an entertainer, you'll gain access to new songs and abilities as you gain higher ranks of the profession. Credits Credit to Star Wars Galaxies for the sound files, and this general player music idea.

 • ** Players need to update their SVN's to experience some of these changes ** - Added the all new 'Entertainer' profession. To get started, see a weaponcrafter and have them make you one of the three new instruments. Then equip your instrument, check out all of the new musical abilities you have, and get started. Also, be sure to use your "Listen" ability on a player playing music, listen to them for a while, and then use your "Stop Listen" ability to get a buff! Want to play together? Form a squad, and when one of you uses the "Start Music" ability, you'll all start playing together. Remember to communicate so you're all playing the same song though! - Added new emote abilities players can use (Salute, Bow, etc.) - Fixed Player Owned Housing. No more stealing items or misplaced furniture; it all works properly. - Fixed a few small bugs and typos. - The Fast Download option has been removed. Load times are back to insanely fast speeds now as a result. ~ * ~ * ~ Along with the new entertainer profession comes alot of creative potential for players to form their own musical groups and bands. In order to see what people can come up with, encourage some competition, and to just have fun, we'll soon be organizing regular "concerts" and "battle of the bands" as player events so that player created groups can compete for prizes and fame from their fellow players. On the note of events, we plan to have more events of all types to encourage people to log onto the servers from time to time and have some out of the box fun.

 • Next planned update is to the Armorsmith profession. Going to be a gargantuan content update as far as crafters are concerned. There is a preview of the planned new armor types and what base attributes they will each modify in the General Discussion section of the official forums so check it out if you're curious (you don't have to register to view it or anything, I promise). We're also planning on adding regular events on the servers of all kinds. Some will be PvE, some will be PvP, and some will be purely social oriented. For example, within the next couple of weeks we're hoping on hosting a Battle of the Bands tournament for those entertainer groups that are starting to sprout up as of the last update. Player's bands can face off to create the coolest musical experience (which will be decided by the audience), and the winning band will receive some in-game goodies! Also, we have a public Facepunch group now: http://www.facepunch.com/group.php?groupid=2225 Why? Well, why not? That's all I've got for now; I'm out!

 • The servers have been fixed; thanks for your patience all. Was a small SNAFU with updating the dedicated servers after the recent GMod update.

 • Any reason we can't connect to the ISD Scourge? I have the content pack installed correctly, and have the right map, but it gets stuck on trying to download the stardestroyer map. [editline]7th March 2011[/editline] Also there is no plexite in the sand dunes or anywhere for that matter. :(

 •
Snake;28859745']Hm..this looks cool. Is it still popular? I'd like to try it out some time.
Everyone is just waiting for a new update, is my guess... Which should be coming soon, whenever Ryan finds the time to get me new models, and whenever Trilobite can get on steam and help me optimize the map then i'm sure more people will be on more.

 • Yeppers, at it's very very core it's the Underdone base. So much has been modified though it's almost an entirely different game, the only things I've really not messed with are the NPC AI and that sandy rounded UI! :P
