• Improved enemy aim?

  • Is there a way to improve the aim on combine soldiers like in Smod? I started a gunfight with two combine soldiers, and it lasted for 5 minutes. I am open for suggestions, because rebels being more accurate than combine is just flat out ridiculous.

  • At the console, type "sk_" and look through the list of available commands. You can affect accuracy, damage, rate of fire, etc.

I totally agree that to think Elites just sprays bullets everywhere while untrained Rebels can sharpshoot is ridiculous.

Believe me, someone set up a thousand combine elites with annabelles on me. But I am trying to make them accurate with weapons like smgs and stuff. Rebels don't have editable sound packs. Rebels don't have tokotoko's counter strike skins.

I know this probably isn't what you did, but this is a post comparison: "Hey, could somebody make a script that <> thanks :keke:" And lets say someone decides to do it. Now compare it to this: "Hey you fuckers, write me a script that does <> RIGHT NOW" And lets say somebody hunts them down and kill them.

The Combines' excessive whining when shot at really shortens the time they can fire at you. Also, I hate it when they are just standing in front of you, but still fires in short bursts. I will love it if Combines can prime grenades, and can go karate on Rebels. Oh, please note the Annabell is overpowered since it is not designed against anything outside of Ravenholm in the first place, like the Vort's shock attack which is totally cheap. I mean, if you had played HL1, you will know what I mean when I say the HL2 Vorts are cheap.

  • Well in the coding it has seperate accuracy for the NPC's, something which i can't see Lua being able to change. Yet.

If they are just standing in front of you, then you are either not setting their squads, or you are playing a map that doesn't have info_nodes, which is what npc's need to move on their own. This is especially true in the counter strike maps. Besides, decreasing the damage of the vortigaunts using mahalis' sk_ idea makes them a fair fight in some fashion.

  • It wouldn't have to be with LUA. It could be with ANY program that is compatable with GMOD10, and is able to modify AI. Surely it's possible.

  • This is true... the NPC's are fucked in Gmod. We need nods in ALL MAPS! Plus think of this If a grunt from Half life 1 could take 2 to 3 shotgun shells, then a Overwatch Combine Solider, who's technology is far from ours. Should take like 6 to 7. And the Overwatch Elite should take like 15. Then, the game would be a challenge

  • the sk_combine_guard_health could fix that. And yes, a stupid headcrab can act like einstein if a few info_nodes and info_node_hints were placed around the map. What I can do to the map gives the combine the superior advantage. But they are victims of [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stormtrooper_effect]Stormtrooper Syndrome.[/url] The tactical capabilities I give them get pissed on because of horrible aim. Nothing can fix that can't it...

  • lol the player takes more damage from the damn combine then rebels do rebels are what the combine should be like to the rebels otherwise rebels couldve probly toke there asses easily lol.

Uh... they shove their leg through them. Ever seen a bullfight? Imagine the bull's horns ripping through your body, but about 10 times longer - unless you have juggernaut-esque armor, you aren't surviving that. Also, they don't kill in one hit, it takes a few. Also, what the guy above said.
