I need 100 shares across these social media platforms
Is that part of the assignment or did you decide on that number yourself? Either way, I think that is expecting a little too much out of someone. Hell, I don't even talk to like more than 12 people. I guess I'll like it with my fakebook account and up it on reddit if you're desperate.
-stuff-
I updated "Flvr" and set up a github pages to show an example. There's still a number of things I want to fix and add like static images/slideshows, YouTube videos support, and SVG support for more complex shapes. Right now it's pretty usable, though.
here is a bad website I made in one day for a class project, it also includes an 8 minute youtube video that was poorly made entirely by me: http://sfotguide.webutu.com/ I am also obliged to request that you share this dumb site to all you dumb friends through the following dumb social media platforms: twitter facebook reddit I need 100 shares across these social media platforms
You want us to share something that you've told us is bad? 🤔 You should make a website with a dank meme on it. Kids love sharing dank memes.
I'd ask the professor if paid promotion is okay and then ask for money.
he even added a footnote to the assignment that paid promotion is not allowed
he even added a footnote to the assignment that paid promotion is not allowed
Just ask for money then.
Just ask for money then.
Just get a bad grade then, who cares.
[vid]https://rp.braxnet.org/scr/1482411479740.webm[/vid] phew, i think it turned out pretty good in the end, fitting content onto phones is hard :v:
Wow. I now get why unit testing is used. I'm currently using PHPUnit to test a group project that we've been working on for university coursework. It's already encouraged better programming practices by erroring the fuck out when something could be remotely problematic. Plus the whole thing of automating tests is pretty cool I guess.
Lets go mess with that visualizer I've got again, boy that was a poor choice. 5 hours later I completely redid my landing page into something that should never have seen the light of day, it is very flashy and pretty though. https://reager.org/ Still disappointed that Firefox doesn't support mask-image so it looks kinda silly on anything but webkit.
I can't believe I forgot to post this here.. Over the last couple of month I have been learning how to make WordPress plugins. My latest plugin called 'Gex Ratings' (for lack of a better name) adds a Facepunch style rating system to all site posts, comments and pages. I finally managed to get the plugin approved on the official WordPress plugin repository at https://wordpress.org/plugins/gex-ratings-facepunch-style/ You can see a working example on my blog at http://blog.gsrv.co.uk/ Frontend Backend So far I'm really enjoying the WordPress plugin API. The most difficult part is creating something original.. CC and comments welcome
So here's my first attempt at something more than a static webpage/wordpress blog etc. I pulled together all the snippets of knowledge I had, and with plenty of googling I managed to make a simple checkin/checkout site with bootstrap for our school's radio club. https://checkout.w3axl.com It almost looks like I knew what I was doing, but I assure you almost every part of the backend was made with plenty of help from our friend the internet. Good thing I don't do this for a living otherwise I'd go crazy. Comments and all that are encouraged, and feel free to tell me everything I'm doing wrong.
I've been changing page layouts sooo much and I think I've finally made one that I'm happy with, what do you guys think, any suggestions? https://snko.tech/ I made most of the pages as consistent as possible.
I cooked up a neat little responsive 3-way video box for a new portfolio. Turned out better than I hoped. http://fewes.se/new/

I've been playing with WebRTC, and it works flawlessly in Chrome, however, when I try to use it in firefox, it just fails. To be more specific, Firefox allows me to get my local webcam stream, but, when I try to set a remote stream, the video feed just never shows up. I have tried many test pages, tried making my own, tried many many different variations, can't get it to work. Here is a sample app that works flawlessly in Chrome, but fails in Firefox: https://webrtc.github.io/samples/src/content/peerconnection/pc1/ Any tips for working with Firefox's WebRTC?

far from complete, but that interlocking photo grid is probably the best thing I've ever made http://www.richardpetrosino.com/portfolio/test/
far from complete, but that interlocking photo grid is probably the best thing I've ever made http://www.richardpetrosino.com/portfolio/test/
Looks good, but what that's called is a "masonry" and you could make a responsive version (instead of doing hidden overflow with static height) by using either flexbox or a library (depending on what browser support you're looking for).

With Masonry, everything has to fit into 3 predetermined (be responsively or otherwise) boxes. With this method, albeit ugly as hell on the backend, the images all retain their original sizes, and fit in smoothly, how Flickr does it. [editline]11th January 2017[/editline] Okay, it also doesnt work in Safari because Safari is completely ignoring the width: auto on the images. That's strange. It's stretching them despite the width being set to auto. [t]http://i.imgur.com/kH1ZBjX.jpg[/t] To clarify, the images have a height of 100%, to fit the row they are in, which has a set pixel-value height. On Chrome, the images' width: auto simply scales them to maintain aspect ratio. It doesn't on Safari.
Are the images in any divs? Does your CSS have any width properties in the containing divs, if so? Safari gets a little weird with style inheritance.
I'm messing with cloud storage at the moment. I've essentially made database without a schema that's faster than SQL. (I'll show images web I get home) Storing data is all done via JSON in the HTTP request body. All the userdata is compressed by the highest level of gzip compression and is stored in a non-servable directory. when the account is opened, it's loaded into cache for 30 minutes when being modified to allow editing to be as fast as possible. So far we support JSON and YAML outputs https://control.pococraft.org/cloud/?id=76561198074240735&services=ICloudPrimary,ICloudTestbed&format=json https://control.pococraft.org/cloud/?id=76561198074240735&services=ICloudPrimary,ICloudTestbed&format=yaml Though I've been thinking of using astron as it's more human friendly when displaying userdata. Agenda: - Make a unque account key per users that hashes a formula correlated to the account data. - Add XML output. - Optimize the cache system by allowing direct access via https
finally got laravel 5.3 to work in cloud9's dev environment. now i can work on my website at work.
Are the images in any divs? Does your CSS have any width properties in the containing divs, if so? Safari gets a little weird with style inheritance.
The images are in a row div, which is in a grid div, neither of which have a declared width. The only element with a declared width are the images themselves, which have a width: auto.
I'm making some forums for some reason. I really have no idea why and I will most likely never have a use for this. But hey it's fun. Plenty of it isn't working for one reason or another or I've just not implemented it yet.
