John Minchillo/AP A woman who had accused Donald Trump of raping her when she was a 13-year-old dropped her lawsuit against the Republican nominee on Friday. One of the accuser’s attorneys, Thomas Meagher, filed a one-page voluntary dismissal in district court in New York late on Friday. Neither he nor a second attorney listed immediately responded to questions about the document.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/nov/04/donald-trump-teenage-rape-accusations-lawsuit-dropped
well considering you cannot even sue the president until his term is over, hiring and keeping a legal team for 4-8 years is exorbitantly expensive.
well considering you cannot even sue the president until his term is over, hiring and keeping a legal team for 4-8 years is exorbitantly expensive.
she dropped it on friday, almost a week ago, when trump was forecast to lose. I've heard that it's been "Dropped" at least one other time too. This has nothing to do with trump winning
well considering you cannot even sue the president until his term is over, hiring and keeping a legal team for 4-8 years is exorbitantly expensive.
I thought you were right, but a private citizen *can* sue the President for actions performed independent of his Presidency.
Wow, it's almost like the accusation was total bullshit all along!
Assuming she wasn't lying, that'd be incredibly disturbing having the man who raped you as a child be elected the leader of the free world. Hopefully it was all bullshit and a rapist isn't now the president. Being a pussy grabbing chauvinist is bad enough.
We don't know what Trump's legal team has been doing, either. It is well known that Trump has not paid contractors before and strong armed them into accepting that by saying, "You'll lose more than you'll gain by litigating". He might have strong armed her, too.

Yeah, be mad at Trump all you want (I am) but claims like this are usually bullshit from the few examples I've seen. It just kinda screamed "smear" to me.
Wow, it's almost like the accusation was total bullshit all along!
This is a civil suit and not a criminal one
Yeah, be mad at Trump all you want (I am) but claims like this are usually bullshit from the few examples I've seen. You forgot to post the reason why she dropped the claims:
This week she abruptly canceled a plan to speak publicly about the allegations, and another attorney, Lisa Bloom, cited “numerous threats” against her client. “She has been here all day, ready to do it, but unfortunately she is in terrible fear,” Bloom said on Wednesday. Bloom’s mother, Gloria Allred, is an attorney representing several women who have accused Trump of sexual misconduct.
More bullshit slander or not, this whole election has been built on utter discontent and hate for others.
how do people threaten her if she is anonymous
So weird that she waited until just now to actually file this lawsuit. its almost like she's full of shit
So weird that she waited until just now to actually file this lawsuit. its almost like she's full of shit
Hm I wonder why people are afraid to ever admit they were raped hm. I wonder why she'd come forward now when her potential rapist could be leading the country hm. It's almost like you're full of shit.
So weird that she waited until just now to actually file this lawsuit. its almost like she's full of shit
I wonder if the fact that the first response of a lot of people is to instantly dismiss it out of turn and try to spin it around to just be about attention whoring or trying to smear someone might have something to do with it. The reason a lot of people don't come forward with this kind of shit is because they're afraid that no one will believe them and that by bringing it up they're gonna make themselves targets for further harrassment/retribution of some kind.

Furthermore, they hadn't even legally filed any sort of papers towards Trump at any point. All they did was just step to the media, while her PR person, a known hoax artist, was trying to sell the assumed tape of the deed for one million dollars to a media company the first time around. Only Huffington Post took it seriously, even Gawker Media called bullshit on this one. That was how fucking flimsy the supposed evidence was. We don't even know for sure if the woman actually exists, as she has never even showed up to a court meeting or in a public interview.

That shit is cool and all, but assuming rape victims are full of shit is just as pathetic as saying the potential rapist is guilty before anything is proven. Not that I'm surprised Oizen is shitposting to defend Donald Trump lol.

Other articles, even in The Guardian mentioned that he was looking to sell the tape of the deed for one million dollars to whatever media outlet was willing to pay him. That isn't just smelling fishy. That's smells more than a septic tank in India. Because apparently, a rather well-known Washington DC lawyer, Ted Frank, has said a bit about the case yesterday, and said that this case had been filed before in California, and was thrown out there, ''Jane Doe'' had been found out that she had given a false address. The second case, filed in New York, got thrown out too because ''Jane Doe'' never arrived at a scheduled 9 September Court Meeting. Evenmore, they haven't even officially filed a case against Trump yet, not now, and not in the other two cases that were thrown out of the same person. Excuse me if I sound a bit harsh, but I've seen it happen before with the media in my country, that an anti-establishment candidate gets accused of rape charges which ended up being as fabricated as it could be. The case got thrown out of court nigh instantly. Didn't stop some people for thinking that said candidate still did it. Welp, that's the third time she didn't show up. Not once has ''Jane Doe'' actually appeared in court. So either Bloom shows some real evidence that the woman actually exists, or it is yet another desperate political slanderjob. Trump might say very dirty things in private, but that doesn't mean that Trump is instantly guilty of every flimsy rape claim against him. 'Innocent until proven guilty' is how the western law operates after all. And so far, the accusing party isn't showing any hard evidence at all.
There have been reputable lawyers looking this case, and all they could say to it is that this sure does smell like a hoax, as the accusing party haven't ever handed out the papers to the defendant's party (Trump) IN ALL THREE CASES SO FAR. She hasn't ever shown up once to a court hearing either.
Whether this case is true or not isn't the problem. The problem is when disgusting people assume that timing has something to do whether a rape accusation is fictional or not. Here's a hypothetical. Donald gets accused of rape days before he becomes president. People like Oizen think that the timing of it instantly means it's false and not worth the time of looking. That's a pathetic mindset and I have no problem saying how shit people who think it are.
Wow, it's almost like the accusation was total bullshit all along!
You know damn well it was, but it was used as ammunition against him over the last month. "B-but think of the rape!! he's LITERALLY a rapist hurr hurr!!" If that's the best the Democrats could do against someone like Trump, I'm even more dissapointed in their efforts.
how do people threaten her if she is anonymous
by sending the threats to her not anonymous lawyer

Yeah, but what about Bill Cosby? He didn't have anything major going on in his life, people just started calling him out on it and then the cases came by the dozen, and were actually backed up with names and dates. The fact that none of these Trump cases really came out before winning the nomination just screams bullshit.
