They'll cover it extensively.
Donald Trump must have had Hillary as his lawyer to get him off so many rape charges!!!!
Probably a lot. The timing just screams that its just a ploy to prevent Trump from getting votes. Why wait so many years just to do this now? http://www.snopes.com/2016/06/23/donald-trump-rape-lawsuit/ (I don't like snopes but meh.) Also, a reason they go for civil suit is the bar is much lower to get a conviction and if what you're filing is false then all you end up with is attorney bills. Rather than the criminal trial that the conviction has to be beyond any reasonable doubt and filing false police reports can land one in jail.
Through the 23 years I've been around, I've seen death. I've seen horrible things happen to people I've known, and all the while in the back of my mind, there's the thought of "better them than me." But through 2016, I've learned something. It makes me realize that there some things worse than dying, there's sitting around and waiting to die. I want off this ride. I want off this ride. I fucking want off this ride.
Because Rape cases are in general not taken very seriously and now that there is sufficient doubt against Trump it's a good time to take it up and not be drowned in his lawyers?
Rolling Stone's little bit on UVA kinda proves that wrong. Rape cases definitely are taken seriously in this country. Even though the UVA rape case was a fabrication.
It's Donald Trump. There are thousands of documented cases of women not reporting abuse right away due to fear from the assailant, if this happens women are afraid to come out especially if someone has a lot of power or power over them and often try to just forget it ever happened. With that being said I say it's probably 50 50 that it happened, but the details and what I know about Trump seems believable to me.
Tomorrow we'll hear that one of the candidates murdered someone at this rate.
Is the source down for anyone else currently? I can't get to it.
Is the source down for anyone else currently? I can't get to it.
Yeah, it's hosted on the law firm's website and I'm guessing it isn't designed for the traffic it's currently experiencing.
Is the source down for anyone else currently? I can't get to it.
It's just being ddosed from all the traffic, it loaded for me after a while.
Tomorrow we'll hear that one of the candidates murdered someone at this rate.
Neither would surprise me tbh
Tomorrow we'll hear that one of the candidates murdered someone at this rate.
/pol/ and other underground-fringe sources have been claiming this about the Clintons for decades at this point. I think the bodycount is in the dozens.
Tomorrow we'll hear that one of the candidates murdered someone at this rate.
The current conspiracy is that Clinton's death squad have killed Huma Abedin.

Huffington post just posted an article on why there hasnt been much coverage http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/donald-trump-rape-case_us_581a31a5e4b0c43e6c1d9834?h2bhwth1ccjgzxgvi main reason being the accuser was anonymous
This will be interesting to watch and see how it affects Trump.
imagine if trump got elected and then immediately had to go to court the next month over a child rape case
Because Rape cases are in general not taken very seriously and now that there is sufficient doubt against Trump it's a good time to take it up and not be drowned in his lawyers?
Uh, it's not the 1970s anymore, rape cases are taken extremely seriously. You'd kinda figure that with all the tougher legislation that has been passed in recent years.
Uh, it's not the 1970s anymore, rape cases are taken extremely seriously. You'd kinda figure that with all the tougher legislation that has been passed in recent years.
Perhaps taken seriously is the wrong word but victims are incredibly intimidated and thus usually stay silent for quite awhile, because rape is often an incredibly hard crime to prove and there's a lot of judgement placed upon the victims as well. It's also why other accusations will rapidly follow since they become more confidence. It's pretty well known that victims can take a long time to speak up, if ever.
what a courageous time to break the silence :)
what a courageous time to break the silence :)
2016 has changed the meaning of courage to mean devious and money hungry. (in apple's case)

Don't they typically twist articles dramatically to fit their agenda? Regardless, Trump can get fucked
what a courageous time to break the silence :)
What's the current number now? Is this the 13th one to break the silence after decades conveniently before the election?
Uh, it's not the 1970s anymore, rape cases are taken extremely seriously. You'd kinda figure that with all the tougher legislation that has been passed in recent years.
If a woman can't be confident that a college football player will be punished because "it will hurt his career", why should she think accusing a world famous billionaire will go any better for her? His lawyers would destroy her financially. She only has a chance now because he's in the spotlight for his comments about sexually assaulting women, and other women have stood up as well.

Sorry if this has been declared a stupid opinion but honestly it still weirds me out that the rape accusations only came out RIGHT after the leaked recording. I don't doubt the accusations because of it, but I just believe it was a mega poor time to come out about it

Don't forget 30 years after it allegedly happen in the first case and on the same day as a big wikileaks dump.
