The deadzones consider me a fungus if I'm holding the blastfungus detector, even if it's only in my inventory. Though it is fun to get infested, then whip out the shotgun and scare people, because they know what's coming.

A positive about the new spawning system is that they don't seem to exit the map as much on me. Then again, maybe I've just been lucky. Current Favourite: Roll fungus :) And the poison fungus is so EVIL! It just keeps on hurting you.
