It was
eight years ago today that I released the first version of Garry’s Mod!
The first ever version was made in a few hours - and contained only the ability to create ropes between physics objects - using a crossbow. It was originally released in a thread on Something Awful. Version 2 was released a few days later (I had a hatred of decimal versions).
